WELCOME TO PROESCENIC STAGE

Artistic direction and scenic movement for productions

When movement is part of the concept, it requires direction.
Proescenic Stage integrates choreography, narrative, and production into a single scenic language.

MOVEMENT CANNOT BE IMPROVISED

IN MANY PRODUCTIONS, MOVEMENT IS TREATED AS AN AFTERTHOUGHT

It gets resolved late. Adjusted quickly. Improvised on set.

And the result usually shows.

Camera misalignment. The framing doesn't match the actual choreography.
Lack of scenic coherence. Disconnection between art direction, photography and talent.
Poorly optimised rehearsals. Time lost solving problems on the spot.
Talent without clear direction. A sense of emptiness and performance insecurity.

When movement is part of the concept, it needs a solid structure from the very beginning.

Proescenic Stage was created precisely to cover that critical point within a production.

WHAT PROESCENIC STAGE IS

ARTISTIC DIRECTION APPLIED TO REAL PRODUCTION

Proescenic Stage is the creative division of Proescenic dedicated to developing stage movement within professional projects.

It’s not just about creating choreography. It’s about designing movement with purpose.

Every decision is made considering:

  • Creative concept and narrative message
  • Production rhythm of the piece
  • Stage space or filming set
  • Selected camera language
  • Available real time and logistics

Movement stops being a decorative element and becomes a structural part of the project.

How we work

A structured process

Every project begins with analysis. The goal is to define a clear language of movement that works within the creative concept and the real production conditions.

1. Creative concept review

We establish the objective, tone, narrative, and real boundaries of the production plan.

2. Definition of scenic language

What kind of movement represents the project, style, energy, rhythm, and relationship with the performers, the space, or the camera.

3. Movement concept design

We design the movement structure or choreography that will give coherence to the production.

4. Rehearsals and stage direction

We work with the selected talent to develop the movement and adjust the execution according to the project's needs.

5. Direction in production or on stage

We accompany the process by coordinating movement with the rest of the creative team to ensure coherence and precision.

The experience behind it

Direction backed by real stage experience

Stage is led by Olga Sances — dancer, choreographer and artistic director with over 30 years of career. That experience doesn't translate into theory. It translates into judgement.

"Direction with a stage vision."

Stage works as a modular creative unit. Depending on the project, the team integrates:

Disciplines
  • Artistic direction
  • Choreography
  • Movement direction
  • Audiovisual content
  • Musical composition
  • Stage casting

One vision. One direction standard.
